I’ve been coming to Cabo for so many years and I’ve been always trying to help the most needed. I am pleasantly surprised to know about what the Solmar Foundation is doing, all the projects you’re supporting, that I’m happy to announce a donation of $10,000 dollars for your charitable causes. Please keep sending me photos and more details on the projects you’re working on in order to see how else I can continue my support to your organization.

Although we were not able to complete a letter for you before our departure, we felt it important enough to send one as soon as we settled in back home.
My sister & I both feel the work the Solmar Foundation is doing in the area is not only important but greatly needed. A great many people are more fortunate than they realize and a day to day basis, and are in a position to help in even the smallest way. Saving the change in your pocket at the end of each day to donate at the end of a vacation is such a small thing! What that change cab afford for the smallest of children of the eldest Grandparent, many of us, by the grace of God, will never know. The short tour your provide shines a light on things most people may be unaware of. The shelter, elder day care and the orphanage are housing many people & innocent children who have fallen on very hard times through no fault of their own. Many of them are so grateful to be where they are because they have no other place to be. The foundation has people who are teaching them skills that will help them not only get back on there own, but may become a source of income that provide them with a much needed sense of pride.
When there unfortunates can go forward with same hope of making a life on their own because of the time and education the foundation provides for them, we too can feel pride for our ability and willingness to help.
In closing we would like to thank you again for the opportunity to see first hand the work the foundation is doing. We feel blessed that we are able to help some of these people make a better life for themselves through your work. It is our hope that others will continue to tour these facilities with you, and offer their help as well through a donation of any size. Our best to you, Omar & the rest of the volunteers that we had the privilege to meet.
Sincerely, Denise Miller & Carolyn Callard
